Rare Golden Osmanthus Tea and Okanagan Cherries with Tanzania Chachalate

First, you'll be immersed in red-fruity notes of the Tanzanian cacao. Chew down into sweet and tart Okanagan (BC) cherries, and soon after, the flavours will transform into an incredibly floral, tropical fruity, and candy-like aroma from the Gold Osmanthus. The finish is long and sweet.

The Gold Osmanthus tea is from a small village nestled in the montains of Fujian, China. Every household in the village has an osmanthus tree in their yard.

The trees are in bloom for only two weeks out of the year. The tiny golden flowers are gathered from the trees and freeze-dried the very same day to preserve their freshness.

About the Beans

In the village of Mbingu (Kiswahili for Heaven), Tanzania, cocoa beans are gathered from over 4,500 neighbouring farmers.

Kokoa Kamili, a central fermentary, takes these beans and beautifully ferments them. They pay the farmers the highest prices in the region and work to better the lives of the surrounding communities while developing the tastiest cocoa beans around.

We make sure to delicately roast the cocoa beans to preserve and accentuate the distinctive tang of these seeds.
