About the Beans
The Bejofo Estate in Madagascar has been farming cacao for 100 years.
They grow, harvest, and ferment their own beans, then dry them quickly under the hot Madagascar sun in the Sambirano Valley. The soil and climate here are ideal for growing the highest quality cacao.

I ordered a box of different types of chocolate. We opened the Madagascar Pure after dinner with guests this week. They raved about the flavour and texture of the chocolate. We are excited to be able to serve it through the holiday season as well as bring it with us when we are invited to dinner parties with our friends and family.
The madagascar chocolate is soo good. Unlike the other bars, this one has a more "chocolaty" taste with fruity notes (if you really taste the chocolate slowly without rushing it, you'll definitely be able to find the tasting notes written in the description). Although dark chocolate, especially seeing 75% might scream bitterness, this bar (and a lot of the other bars) don't throw a strong bitter taste which was got me hooked onto these!! It's a clean fruit-fudge flavour that still packs a punch without much bitterness.
So good, not too sweet, perfect balanced!
This chocolate is ALL fabulous. Service is wonderful too!
