Hop on a video call with our founder and chocolate maker, Ry, and learn what real chocolate is, how we make it from the cocoa beans, decolonizing commodities, and everything in between!
We’ll try three different single-origin, two-ingredient chocolates and taste the rainbow of naturally fruity chocolate flavours.
At Chachalate, we make naturally fruity-tasting dark chocolate, unlike any other chocolate you've ever had. We delicately roast the cacao to highlight and preserve each cocoa bean's unique personality.
In the Box: Our three signature Chachalate bars (Tanzania, Madagascar, India), cocoa nibs, and a tasting guide.
Virtual Tasting: An exclusive one hour session with our founder, Ry. We keep the tastings casual, so there's plenty of opportunity for questions and discussion.---
Order cut off is November 2 - two weeks prior to the event to ensure shipments arrive on time.
For pickups at our kitchen in North York (5000 Dufferin St), select the pickup option during checkout. We will get in touch with you to coordinate a date and time for pickup.
All of our chocolate is made without any added preservatives, soy lecithin, vanilla, dairy, eggs, or gluten. May contain traces of nuts or peanuts.

Great way to learn about ethically sourced cocoa and artisanal chocolate-making. Now I can treat my nearest and dearest to a Chachalate tasting and spread the word.
I really enjoyed the chocolate tasting event. It was informative and the chocolate is very complex, flavourful and special. It doesn’t take much to satisfy a craving and it feels good to be eating chocolate that has been made with so much care. Thank you.
Enjoyed ry’s explanation of the chocolate making process. The tasting was great; I have been a lover of chocolate for years, but this really enhances the experience greatly.
Attended the virtual chocolate tasting and Ry was a phenomenal host - entertaining and learned so much about chocolate. The chocolate itself was delicious and I will be a repeat customer! As an added bonus, Ry also went out of his way to deliver the chocolate to me earlier than planned in order to accommodate my schedule. A+++ all-around!!
