from 229 reviewsI love Chachalate. It is real chocolate! I tried the Fig and Olive Oil Chocolate Bar with Sea Salt and it is now one of my favourite treats. It offers just a little something extra and the satisfaction goes a long way!
The best chocolate advent calendar with superb chocolate quality! You can tell there were a lot of care and thoughtfulness Ry put into it, and I really appreciate the tasting notes.
Have had only 6 of the 24 chocolates so far, but each one has been delicious so far. Looking forward to the rest!
We absolutely love the chocolate and the tasting notes and pairing that come with it. Worth every penny! Support local!
A few days in and so far loving my calendar. Beautifully presented. I'm so enjoying the tour of chocolate every day so far has provided!
When we opened Chachalate’s Advent calendar we were gobsmacked—so many new flavours (as well as our old favourites), and not just little squares but mini-bars, big enough to share with the whole family! What a great idea. Thank you, Chachalate and Ry!
I love the caramel and cocoa nib crunch. This is not an icky sweet bar (which is perfect for me) and the tang of the Tanzania chocolate is balanced by the slight sweetness of the caramel. Plus the smoothness of the chocolate is balanced by the crunch of the cocoa nibs. Just enough crunch - not too much! Love the balance!
I absolutely love this chocolate. It is my favourite bar of all time. I look forward to my daily piece of Chachalate. So good.
For the gourmet’s and anyone who enjoys and can appreciate a fine wine, speciality coffee or great scotch. Enjoy the the flavor complexity and dynamism of the front, back and linger flavors.
Like a truly special wine, it might be difficult to appreciate for those not accustomed to very dark chocolate or other ‘complex’ flavors. But for those looking for such, a great enjoyment or gift.
I really love the special taste and blend they made. Fantastic chocolate!
Honestly one of the best chocolate bars I’ve had in awhile. We tried to save it and couldn’t. Ryan makes the best bars in the city.
They has the best chocolate and fantastic customer service! The chocolates are rich and delicious.. A perfect experience from start to finish. highly recommend!
Outstanding. Absolutely delicious. I have to stop myself from eating the whole bar in one sitting.

CHOCOLATE WAS MY FIRST LOVE.
But as a kid I couldn't pronounce it.
I would run down my aunt’s hallway yelling “I want chachalate (CHA-CHA-LIT)”.
When I grew up, I was shocked by the industry.
How could something that brings us so much happiness cause so much suffering around the world?
So I made my own chocolate. Sourcing the best cacao as directly with the farmers as possible.
