About the Beans
In the village of Mbingu (Kiswahili for Heaven), Tanzania, cocoa beans are gathered from over 4,500 neighbouring farmers.
Kokoa Kamili, a central fermentary, takes these beans and beautifully ferments them. They pay the farmers the highest prices in the region and work to better the lives of the surrounding communities while developing the tastiest cocoa beans around.
We make sure to delicately roast the cocoa beans to preserve and accentuate the distinctive tang of these seeds.
At Chachalate, we celebrate the uniqueness of nature and highlight the rainbow of flavours! We make naturally fruity tasting dark chocolate, unlike any other chocolate you've ever had.

I love the caramel and cocoa nib crunch. This is not an icky sweet bar (which is perfect for me) and the tang of the Tanzania chocolate is balanced by the slight sweetness of the caramel. Plus the smoothness of the chocolate is balanced by the crunch of the cocoa nibs. Just enough crunch - not too much! Love the balance!

Fantastic. This chocolate from Chachalate is the only dark chocolate I can eat. Others have a horrible bitterness but there's does not. My favourite is the Caramel. Worth ever penny.
This flavour was the first bar I tried in my very first order. I immediately knew that this was going to be my new favourite chocolate bar. I couldn't believe that there wasn't any additional caramel added to the bar. It has a lovely balance between caramel and chocolate - some serious chocolate making magic here!
Just the right amount of crunch and sweetness. I love the simple flavour of the chocolate, so bold, and goes great with a coffee.
